Overstock launches handbag line...makes me go hmmmmm?
I'm not sure if this is a sign that the economy is getting worst or better...but it looks like Overstock.com, the purveyor of all things designer and discounted, is getting into the handbag game.
The site recently launched the Presa handbag line. The idea was to create "stylish, fun leather handbags at affordable prices," according to the Overstock.com folks.
The bags are all priced under $100. I like the style of some of them, especially this pretty blue number below. The leather looks expensive in that distressed kind of way.
Presa "Bella," $99.99
I'm still not sure how I feel about a website that sells designer discounted brands going into the branding business themselves. It's like they're saying, "hey, the bags we sell on our site by real designers aren't affordable enough, so we're getting into the game." Maybe I'm just paranoid.
If you want to see other Presa bags, check them out here.

I'm with Amanda. When I think Overstock, I think inexpensive. So while $99.99 may be a discount, it's still more than I expect to spend on Overstock.com.

Those bags are a little too expensive to come from Overstock. I would rather get better looking bags with slightly less quality at Target for a lot cheaper.
