Over the knee boot: Forget it or gotta have it?

Over-the-Knee-Boots_articleimage

So, boot season is here in full effect. And I am on the hunt. This year's trend du-jour: over-the-knee boot.

They come in a variety of textures and either heeled or flat.

I've been on the fence about this look for a while and I'm just about ready to leap.  One half of me thinks slutty 80s raunch while the other side says trendy stylish statement.

What's a girl to do?

So I pose the question to you purveyors of style: OTK boot: Fug or Fab?

Gotta have it, gotta have it, gotta have it. I have been looking for a pair of these for quite a while now, but do not feel like going to N.Y. or some other city. PLEASE, let me know where I can find a pair of these.

Tracy

Definetly slutty but sexy!! They take the place of stockings & Garters. They cover the same amount of thigh. I think they are "pretty woman" sexy. That said they have their place(bedroom & club) You certainly can't wear them to work. Most women can't pull them off, too trashy.

fitflops

It looks really stylish. I recently bought short skirt and I think this over knee boot will look really rocking on it. So I am gonna buy this one.

Gail

I have a pair of black suede lace-up back OTK boots with stilleto heels.

My boyfriend LOVES when I wear them with a black lace push-up bra & matching v-string. He can't keep his hands off me.

I HIGHLY recommend ALL DEAL DIVAS READING HERE getting a pair! (you won't even notice a little b-o-t-knee sweat, I promise)

slb

I like them but I think you have to have the legs (height) to wear them.

Dalia Colon

They just don't look comfortable. I picture the backs of my knees getting all sweaty.

John (not my real name, changed to protect the innocent)

"Slutty 80s raunch"? Absolutely. But every guy - and I mean *EVERY* guy - will tell you that we find them 110% sexy. Especially the stiletto heeled versions. Even an average-looking woman will be sexy as h3ll wearing OTK boots, skin or no skin showing (though we men do prefer skin showing, obviously. Duh.) They look good with anything. And even better with nothing.

Stephanie Hayes with a pair of OTK stiletto boots...a fantasy in waiting.

Jan

I've have a few of these in both leather and suede. I like them -- but I live in a cold clim--might be too hot for Florida.

I always wear them with short coats, long tunics or jeans, and I never show any skin between the top of the boot and the bottom of the top.

I like 'em.
