We know there is plenty of interest in fishing and the outdoors judging by the phone calls, e-mails and letters outdoors editor Terry Tomalin and I receive daily. Now this blog provides another outlet. What outdoors topics would you like to know about? What hunting and fishing regulations have you confused? Where can you go to catch the really big ones? We'll even talk about who has the best grouper sandwich. We look forward to discussing whatever you would like to know about outdoor life in the Tampa Bay area.
And while we're at it, here's something you should check out if you haven't already done so. It has nothing to do with Tampa Bay. In fact, it's the complete opposite of our fishing, but the Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel (Tuesdays, 9 p.m.) sure is addictive. Thirty foot seas, 24 hour workdays and pots full of king crab. Good stuff.
