Rainey may be out for season

GAINESVILLE - Running back Chris Rainey has a shoulder injury that may require surgery that will force him to miss the remainder of the season.

Rainey has been struggling with the injury, and it may have to be addressed now.

"I think (Chris) is going to have shoulder surgery,'' UF coach Urban Meyer said. "He reinjured that. It has  been unstable really since he got to Florida and it looks like he will not play again this fall. I don't know the exact date and that is not final, final, but he has a problem with his shoulder.''
