Basketball team gets first ranking of the season
On the strength of its 4-0 start, Billy Donovan's young Florida basketball team is ranked for the first time this season.
The Gators are No. 25 in the Associated Press poll and are in at No. 24 in the USA Today coaches poll.
Donovan said don't put too much stock in the ranking.
"I think we’ve done a good job these first four games,'' he said. "Does it warrant us being in the Top 25? I don’t think so. I think if we’re in the Top 25, a lot of it has to do with what we’ve done these first four games and I think a lot of it has to do with what’s happened the last couple of years out of respect for the team winning the championships.''
Florida will play North Florida Tuesday night at 8 in the O'Connell Center.

They are fun to watch. They have some great young talent on the team. They will get in the tourney and may win a first round game, but I am not confident of much more this year though
