Joiner is captain one last time
GAINESVILLE - Florida senior safety Tony Joiner was given his role as team captain back by Gators coach Urban Meyer prior to Saturday's Florida-Florida State game.
Meyer said earlier in the week he was considering given Joiner that title back.
Joiner lost his captaincy prior to the LSU game for removing his girlfriend's car from a tow company without paying the towing bill.
The owner said it was a misunderstanding and he didn't want Joiner arrested.
The State Attorney's Office later elected not to pursue charges.
Joiner said earlier in the week he'd talked with Meyer about playing his final game as a captain and he'd consider it.

Wow, Meyer the disciplinarian strikes again.
Try not to get arrested after this game Tony.
