Tampa's Garcia helping South Carolina prepare for UF
Tampa's Stephen Garcia has a significant role this week. He's playing Tim Tebow for the Gamecoocks' scout team during this week's preparation for Saturday night's Florida game.
"He'll be wearing No. 15,'' South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier said.
Spurrier said the former Jefferson standout may one day be a standout college quarterback.
"We'll wait and see,'' Spurrier said. "He can run around a little bit. The ball comes out of his hand nicely. He's got a lot to learn about trying to play quarterback. So, we'll see. We'll worry about taht in spring practice. Let he and (Chris) Smelley and (Tommy Beecher) fight it out to see who (will) maybe start next year.''

So who does Spurrier have wearing the #1 jersey to prepare for Percy? After what DMC did last week, Harvin should blow up!

I heard he asked Reggie Bush, but then reconsidered because Bush wasn't good enough to play Percy. ; )

3 losses to 3 top 25 teams. The defense is starting to come around and Tebow is getting a better grasp on the whole offense. Last week Vandy kept him in the pocket and he still owned them.
