Fans asked to wear orange for Capital One Bowl

Florida officials are asking Gator fans to arrive early and wear orange for the Jan. 1 Capital One Bowl game against Michigan.

The game kicks off at 1 p.m. in front of a nationally-televised audience and sold-out stadium.

If you're going to the game, here's a bonus, well sort of. Fans may have the opportunity to get their  picture taken with the Heisman Trophy at the following Capital One Bowl events:

Sunday, Dec. 30:  Gator Pep Rally located at the Bowl-a-Palooza FanFest inside of the Orange County Convention Center.

Monday, Dec. 31: Capital One Bowl Kickoff Luncheon located at the Renaissance Orlando Resort

Tuesday, Jan. 1: Capital One FanFest prior to the game.

This year's Capital One Bowl features two teams which have had three Heisman recipients each.
