Gators pick up another four-star commitment
After losing one of its defensive prospects to academic casualty on Monday, the Gators rebounded Tuesday with another highly-touted player.
William Green, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound defensive end out of Hoover (Ala.) Spain, orally commited to the Gators Tuesday evening.
Green chose the Gators despite a late push by Alabama. He had 118 tackles and six sacks as a senior. He expected to take some ribbing from classmates today, since Hoover is in the heart of Alabama country.
"I'll probably get cussed out a little bit,'' he told rivals.com. "I have random people calling me sometimes and cussing me out (for leaning to Florida)."

Welcome aboard William. Glad to have you as a Gator. Our defense is starting to look a lot better. Great recruting class being put together by Coach Meyer and his assistants.

Excellent recruiting class! And to top it off, we pulled two star athletes out of Alabama!
