Men's basketball back in AP poll
On the heels of its 86-64 victory over then- No. 14 Vanderbilt, Florida is back in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
The Gators are ranked No. 20 in the AP poll, released this afternoon. Florida is also No. 19 in the ESPN coaches poll.
Florida (18-3, 5-1 SEC) was ranked during the week of Nov. 19, but the Gators promptly lost to Florida State that week.
The Gators said they learned from their earlier problems, and are uncconcerned about being ranked now.
"That doesn't mean anythng,'' freshman guard Nick Calathes said. "At the end of the season, that's when it matters. We don't care about rankings right now because it really doesn't matter.''
