Four Gators named to All-SEC team

Second baseman Josh Adams, outfielder Matt den Dekker and pitcher Patrick Keating were all named to the first team All-SEC team, chosen by the league coaches and announced Tuesday.

In all, four Gators picked up postseason honors.

Outfielder Avery Barnes was named to the league's second team.

Adams was also recognized on the All-Freshman team, and den Dekker made the SEC's All-Defensive team.

Georgia junior shortstop Gordon Beckham is the SEC Player of the Year.

Florida (34-20) will open play in the SEC tournament against Vanderbilt (37-18) on Wednesday at 2 p.m., at Regions Park in Hoover, Ala.

All I can say is Go Commodores in the SEC tourney! Stick it to the Gators.
