Florida's Tim Tebow, Carlos Dunlap honored by SEC
Florida quarterback Tim Tebow on Monday was named the SEC offensive Player of the Week and DE Carlos Dunlap is the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week.
Tebow completed 12-of-21 passes for 185 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 80 yards and another score in a 45-15 win over Florida State. Florida scored on six of its first eight possessions against the Seminoles. Tebow has thrown for multiple touchdowns in eight consecutive games.
Dunlap registered four total tackles, including three behind the line of scrimmage (-29 yards) and a forced fumble. The Gators held Florida State to 102 rushing yards, limiting the Seminoles to 88 under their average.
Dunlap is now tied for the SEC lead with nine sacks this season.
