What can you say about the SEC? When was the last time a single conference controlled the BCS standings like the SEC??? Bama plods along and plays a good game, while the Gators have a faster game and ball control. The secondary will be giving Bama problems in the SEC championship. If there was no SEC Championship game the BCS Championship would be the SEC Game. Chomp Chomp!

The Hood Rat,
Wah Wah Wah, sound like Kryin Kiffin. Until a team can be the undefeated National Champions, the Gators should be #1. If that were to occur in the SEC Championship game so be it, but if Florida beats Alabama you will be whining about something else.

Poor rodent. Jealous, ignorant, pity the fool. Nov. 28 beat down just around the corner.

Noles 1999 team that was wire to wire #1 never dropping a week (like Uf just did) - would just smoke this uf team. It would be funny. lol -
Uf will never have a season like that - ever!! Our girls school still sets the bar too high. i love it.

Again, no one gives a rip about who's #1 in week 3 or 5 or whatever. What matters is who is #1 when the last poll is taken.
As for the 1999 FSCW team vs. the 2009 UF team. The UF team doesn't have a minor league baseball failure who is close to 30 years old playing QB. Where is he now? The UF team doesn't have players in Dillards using some two-bit crack ho to get 95% off clothes...which was a FELONY until your former (yes, FORMER coach) prayed for a misdemeanor.
Hang on to your wire to wire nonsense. It's all you have up there at the Florida State College for Women.

"Wire-to-wire?" Is that all you straw-grabbing-whinebags got? "Wire-to-wire?" Wow. Things must REALLY be bleak in Nole land. What's next? Your dad can beat up my dad? That sort of thing? You know, AT THE VERY LEAST, you guys once had a little bit of dignity, but now you've even thrown THAT into the trasher. Sad. Yeah, o.k., in somebody's poll/opinion we were number 2 for a week. Let me go find some razor blades. I guess you better put me on suicide alert. Pitiful.

watch out for S Carolina and Spurrier. The gators could wind up getting in the backdoor by the gamecocks. Hopefully, the refs will be impartial on this one.
Posted by: orson | November 09, 2009 at 01:04 PM
Not a great performance by the gators, non less a win. Vandy is the worst in the sec and the gators o-line is breakin down and making tebow run for his life. I agree, orson. S Carolina could spoil uf's run to pasadena. If the 0-line does not show up, it will be a long day for tebow with no deep threat available for uf. You can bet (and meyer and the gators have to be aware of this) that Spurrier is going to find some exposed weekness in the O-line(reviewing the tape) from the Vandy/Gator game. The gamecocks will be blitzing like mad. It just depends on whether the gators and tebow can adjust to the swing pass and quick 7yd slants. Garcia on the other side can put up some big numbers if the o-line can hold the gators defense. Should be a game that the gators dont get to overly confident with.

Poor Noles1999, living in the past again. If that helps you with the pain, then by all means, go for it.
So much woulda coulda shoulda griping by Gator haters on this board. If only their teams woulda coulda shoulda kept winning, then maybe they wouldn't be so sore.

The Hood Rat:
I looked over your blog.....FSU= FAIR...who are you kidding? If you have something below WEAK....Like say, laughable, that's FSU rating...LOL!!!
The only one on that list that we KNOW for sure that will end up with a losing record IS FSU. Get real, dude. Can you say 4-8...Priceless....PLEASE...PLEASE keep Bowden

I love football. NOT ref assisted football. Call it whatever you like and say all the things you need to say: One thing is clear. The reign will end if not this weekend against South Carolina or in the SEC game against BAMA. All you gator fans who respond are in denial. Yes while its ok to be angry at all the comments against the gators, you just simply have to look at yourself in the mirror and say: "I am a Gator and it's ok to finish 4th or 5th in the country". Its really that easy.

Shane- from Georgia:
WOW...ending 4th or 5th would be great and quite an achievement. You can't win the NC every year!!
Let me tell you who won't finish that high: FSU,Miami,Georgia,Oklahoma,Tennessee,
USC,Michigan,Ohio State...surely 1 of these is YOUR team...LOL...
Posted by: Gatorfan! | November 09, 2009 at 03:40 PM
Good we agree. Uf will never have a season like FSU in 99' beating Vick in the sugar bowl wire to wire. We are re-building. That was a goal of Uf's football team. Now its gone.
You can always back into another ref aided title. Naturally 1999 smokes any season you will ever have. Feel that?
Go Noles - fool

As for the Gamecock game this week and fair refing; lets hope the refs are fair instead of protecting the almighty Gator ranking like they did against the Razorbacks.

Both of FSU's national championships were tainted titles...
93-Free Shoes University scandal
99-Your national championship MVP, Peter Warrick and Coles were arrested late in the season for stealing from Dillards. Coles was kicked off the team for this being his second arrest. Somehow, Warrick was not kicked off the team. So sad your school has always relied on cheating to win.
2009-Four years of probation for cheating.
Will FSU even score a field goal against Florida?

A decade if futility. Not one Top 10 finish. Not one. And still they yap. Stay another 34 years, Bowden. For comedy it's tough to beat the Booby Bowden Show, with Burt Reynolds, who looks as the program is performing: god awful.
