Georgia's Washaun Ealey comes to Brandon Spikes' defense

Georgia RB Washuan Ealey has spoken, and it may come as a surprise, but he told the Associated Press Brandon Spikes shouldn't have been suspended.

Ealey said his eyes were closed when Spikes stuck his hand in his helmet and he was not hurt by the incident.

Missed the game Sat. but taped and watched last night. Seems to be that there should have been a few suspensions handed out in Georgia. I think they were handed a few more personal fouls than Florida. Wouldn't say that was what brought out Florida's, but there seemed to be far more GA penalties in the first quarter.

Meyer was right to suspend Spikes. Even if it is against Vandy, it stills sends a message.
