Pop music critic Sean Daly, who has a divine iPod but a smudgy soul, has decided to cleanse this weekend with some uplifting songs and related praise. Here's his Easter Playlist...
Brothers and sisters, neighbors and friends, I am not here to preach on this fine Easter weekend. I am not here to mock you for wolfing down three helpings of Virginia ham, two pounds of Aunt Shirley’s candied yams and two-thirds of a ginormous Nestlé bunny. (Wow, you left an ear. What willpower.) Instead, my music-loving brethren, I present 10 uplifting songs that could save your soul — or, at the very least, help you work off the severe salt bloat that’s made you look like Morley Safer.
So lift up off the couch! Release the Peeps! Praise the Lord and pass the iPod!
