Busta Rhymes turns down plea deal
Busta Rhymes rejected a plea deal Tuesday that would have landed him in jail for one year, Reuters reports. The Manhattan district attorney’s office says Rhymes would have served one year for charges of assault, and fined $1,500 and sent to an anti-drunken driving program for driving with a suspended license in exchange for a guilty plea. He also faces DUI charges from an arrest last Thursday. Now he’ll take his chances with another court date on July 10. See, Paris? It could be so much worse.
