A couple movies we'll probably see
• Benicio del Toro has signed on to play Ernesto “Che” Guevara in a biopic directed by Steve Soderbergh, the AP reports. The movie — called Guerilla, according to del Toro’s Web site — is the second about the journalist-killing Argentine in the past couple years, after 2004’s The Motorcycle Diaries.
• Gavin Hood, the director behind 2005’s Tsotsi, is gearing up to helm the X-Men spinoff Wolverine, which will star Hugh Jackman as the mutant Canadian badass. The story will follow the origins of the comic book character, which will likely include telling us why he favors Moosehead over Labatt.
