Another (yawn) Britney Spears ruling
The Britney Spears drama continues, with L.A. family court ruling Thursday that while Brit-Brt can still visit her kids, a monitor has to watch her like a hawk, presumably to prevent her from dangling the kids off bridges or lighting them on fire.
Wire services report Sean and Jayden would remain in the care of daddy Kevin Federline because Spears “was not in substantial compliance with material provisions” of a previous order that set rules for visitation, parental counseling and drug and alcohol testing. Snap.
So now the reports are flying that Bratney is checking back into rehab ahead of the scheduled Oct. 26 hearing — she still has to take drug tests and attend parenting classes.
Jive Records, of course, is keeping mum on their one-time golden girl. “It’s not our place to comment on her personal issues,” spokesman Allan Mayer said in a statement.
Imagine the job of watching Britney Spears and her kids. It’s got to be like watching a crazed, starving mama jackal play with her pups while trying to decide whether she should just eat them and get it over with.
