Hayden Panettiere: Japanese fugitive
See, Hayden Panettiere, this is what you get when you try to help dolphins: The Japanese cops open a file on your world-saving butt. Panettiere, who traveled to Japan to swim in protest of an annual slaughter of dolphins and whales by Japanese fishermen, told E! News she's now a wanted woman. "I learned they have an arrest warrant out for me in Japan," she said. "We just found out." The star said the warrant could mean "potentially jail, but I doubt it." Still, she doesn't regret taking up the dolphins' cause. "I'd do it again," she said. "Very possibly might do it again." These kids today! Such blatant disregard for the law!
