Looks like maybe she is trying to do it her self or maybe Tom is now a hairdresser. Maybe they are trying to save some money but still fit into the crowd.

I think Katie Holmes has in fact attempted to incorporate every style Gurus 2008 hairstyles predictions into her one super style there.

She has got the bold fringe, she has got the demure curls, she has got the choppy, layered bob and she has gone for some reddish lowlights too! It is slightly Emo (because lets face it, it is original!) and even has some rock chick wild look influence thrown in as well.

Basically this is the epitomy of not just one 2008 hairstyle, but all 2008 hairstyles, on one head...Katie Holmes Head!

i really just can't decide. can it be all of them put together? it's not *bad*, though... and at least the dress is pretty cute.

don't know who's dressing Tom these days, though. i don't know if it's a conscious attempt to get away from that whole "sex symbol" thing or what. and i have to wonder just how far forward he's having to comb his hair. his hair is really making me sad.
