Three actors will complete Heath Ledger's film
Heath Ledger’s final movie, Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, will be completed with not one but three actors filling in for the late star’s role, the BBC reports.
Jude Law, Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell will step into the role of Tony, which still had plenty of footage to shoot when the set went dark after Ledger’s death on Jan. 22. Ledger and costar Christopher Plummer had finished the London portion of their shoot the weekend before Heath’s death and were scheduled to start filming in Vancouver the following week.
The BBC speculates that Ledger’s footage will remain intact, and the three actors will be playing different versions of Tony in the $30 million movie about magic.Having those four names in one flick, meanwhile, will likely work magic at the box office.
