Britney Spears will sing at Mel Gibson's church
Thanks to The Juice*, you know useless information like the fact that Britney Spears had dinner with Mel Gibson a week ago. Want to know why? Apparently she's going sing a gospel number at Mel's Holy Family Catholic Church next month.
"They are working on arrangements and will agree on something in time for Britney singing at a Sunday service in late April," a source tells the U.K.'s Mirror. "There is a possibility that she may even have a new song written for her for the occasion."
And while she'll have to tone down the skanky wardrobe for the appearance, there may be more of the Malibu church in Brit's future.
"(Mel) is acting as a kind of mentor to help her rediscover God," the source says. "He is thrilled that she has agreed to come to his church."
Good on Brit for trying to do something a little more grounded, but someone should warn her Mel's church celebrates Mass in Latin.

This article must have been written slowly because Mel's rep already confirm that this rumor has no truth to it whatsoever.
