Eva Longoria Parker is opening her restaurant
While the biggest restaurant news in Tampa Bay is waiting to see whether Robert Irvine’s Ooze and Schmooze ever actually open, Eva Longoria Parker and chef Todd English have entered the Hollywood market with their new eatery, Beso.
How can someone so thin possibly be involved in the food industry? Because girl likes to eat.
“I’ll go to a restaurant and if I have an amazing dish I’ll go to the kitchen and ask the chef how he made it. And then I’ll make him teach me,” Longoria Parker tells People. “You can ask (husband) Tony (Parker), I do it all the time. I’ll leave him at the table for like 30 minutes.”
He must be glad he’s the one picking up the check. But then again, if Beso really is all that and a bag of chips, it’s enough to make us wish we were in L.A. for lunch.
And Eva’s contribution to the menu? “I make the best guacamole in the world,” she says. “And my tortilla soup for which I am renowned for.” We thought playing a mean woman who sleeps with underage gardeners is what she’s renowned for, but we’ll take guac and soup.

FYI, it's Robert Irvine, not Michael . . . unless he lied about his name, too.
