Kid Rock makes a scene at Waffle House again
If you remember your white-trash fisticuffs, you'll recall that Kid Rock got into a fight at an Atlanta-area Waffle House last fall, so it's disturbing to hear he returned to the scene of the crime. But this time, it was for charity.
Kid went to a Duluth, Ga., Waffle House on Tuesday to sign autographs for hundreds of fans just a week after pleading not guilty to the Oct. 21 incident, the AP reports.
"The whole situation before was kind of silly," he said of the fight (at a different Waffle House). "We just thought after that unfortunate incident we'd try to do something silly but something more positive."
Proceeds from the photo op are earmarked for Nicholas House, a homeless shelter in DeKalb County, where Rock was arrested. He originally was going to serve food to customers, too, but ran out of time before his concert that night at Gwinnett Arena. His agent must have told him the charity autograph-signing would be enough to sway the judge in his court case.
