Cameron Diaz's father dies from pneumonia

Tbdcamerondiaz041708 Production of Cameron Diaz's current film, My Sister's Keeper, has shut down after the sad news that the actress' father, Emilio Diaz, died of pneumonia on Tuesday.

TMZ says the Seal Beach, Calif., resident was 58. He was a second generation Cuban-American who worked for an oil company.

Diaz will likely be cancelling more than movie shoots. She is not expected to attend a private party by British GQ and Dunhill hosted by Elton John this week, or the London premiere of What Happens in Vegas. Emilio is survived by Cameron, his wife Billie, and his other daughter, Chimene.
