'Speed Racer' could be really good ... or bad

Ali Dee and the Deekompressors are in charge of the theme song for Speed Racer, and this video features a lot of action. After watching it about five times, we've come to the conclusion that it just may be too much like the cartoon for its own good. But we're still seeing it.

I think the colors look great, totally tricked out cars and beautiful Christina Ricci all in one! I just read her interview at http://www.nonprofitshoppingmall.com about her involvement with RAINN and she just sounds like an all around good person. I guess I will have to support the film now...

Mach he go go! Mach he go go! Mach he go go GO!!!!!

This rapfest makes the original cartoon look like a terribly crude, incredibly old and silly cartoon that gathered a fan-base of people who had yet to discover the power of referencing "Citizen Kane" whenever they want their opinion of movies to be taken seriously.

This crapfest makes the original cartoon look like Citizen Kane.

Good or bad, it sure will be fun to watch.
