People reports the newly hitched singer has adopted the last name of rocker hubby Pete Wentz. “I think that that’s something that a woman should do when they’re marrying a man,” she said. “It’s a tradition that I think is a great tradition.” Professionally, she says she’ll go by Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, which rolls off the tongue about as well as a Fall Out Boy song title. Pete says he’s happy with the change. “Oh, man, I was like, upgrade me! You know what I’m saying? The Wentz family, our Christmas card just got upgraded. It feels insane. It feels unreal.”
