Jodie Foster dumps her 14-year lesbian partner
Jodie Foster may have finally come out of the closet at an awards show in December by thanking Cydney Bernard, her partner of 14 years, but it apparently didn't stop the relationship train from flying off the tracks. The National Enquirer says Jodie has dumped the 54-year-old producer, who lives in Foster's home and has shared care of her sons Charlie, 9, and Kit, 6.
“Right now it’s the best-kept secret in Hollywood, and it’s not just because Jodie is a legend and an intensely private person, either," some whackdoo source tells the rag. “Because she and Cydney have been together for so many years and have two children together, the potential fallout and legal wrangling from this split could be monumental.”
This was the best-kept secret in Hollywood? They been together 14 years and wear matching rings. That's like saying it's a secret Brangelina likes children or Britney Spears likes doughnuts.

Dr Starling move over - I found Jodie Foster's next movie Oscar-winning role! Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor who wrote ""My Stroke of Insight"" and delivered a talk about it on TED.com that will knock your socks off! The video's been seen 5 million times and I understand why.
Taylor was a Harvard trained brain scientist who suffered a massive stroke. I don't think we'll ever hear a story like this - Taylor understands how the brain functions and she was able to observe her mind deteriorating. She writes about the euphoric nirvana and a sense of complete peace and well-being she discovered in her stroke! She talks about this in her incredible (don't miss it) talk on TED.com. The book is great too - highly recommended. You'll learn how to 'step to the right of their left brain' to uncover a deep internal peace. Sign me up!

How can anyone say with a straight face that Jodi Foster "came out of the closet" last December? Anyone who's half alive has known about her lifestyle for years, as well as about her children with her partner.
She continues to be one of my faves. How she lives her life is her business and I've always thought she does it with dignity and class.
