Mariah Carey inspires road rage in Naples
This item has nothing to do with Mariah Carey, other than the fact that a Naples area man was arrested for chucking a bottle at a guy who yelled at him for blasting Mimi's music.
Zachary Alan Schreiber, a 21-year-old Mariah devotee, was sitting at a stoplight in his car, listening to one of her songs at what the cops call a high volume, WBBH-TV says.
William Greenman, 22, was a passenger in a car that pulled up next to him, and called Schreiber a nasty name. An argument ensued -- likely about whether Mariah was better as a virginal soul-singer, a hoochie-mama R&B queen, or a diamond-draped diva -- which continued at the next stoplight.
Schreiber had enough of that mess and threw a beer bottle at Greenman, hitting the car's driver, 21-year-old Christine Bec, in the side of the dome. Now he's charged with shooting a missile into a vehicle and criminal mischief. But to be fair, Carey's Touch My Body tells her fans it's okay if you want to hunt people down for being wronged.
