Wesley Snipes will appeal 3-year prison term
You knew it was coming: Wesley Snipes is going to appeal his tax conviction, the AP reports. His lawyers filed notice for the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which they had indicated last week they would do.
Snipes was sentenced to three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file his income tax returns, while being acquitted on five other counts. He's allowed to remain free until he's ordere to surrender to the feeral Bureau of Prisons.
Frankly, it scares us you can get three years in prison for not filing your tax returns. Of course, we wouldn't just believe any old scam artist who says the IRS has no legal right to collect taxes, either.

I hope it will turn out very helpful, and he will be free very soon.
