Sienna Miller recalls Heath Ledger's pajamas
Not that we really care what Sienna Miller is up to these days, but she did have a touching story about Heath Ledger just in time for the release of The Dark Knight. The actress tells the U.K.'s Telegraph she and Ledger went out with her mother for a night on the town in Venice back when they were shooting Casanova together.
"It had been pouring with rain and Heath ran out in the middle of St. Mark's Square and we were running around, and I slipped over on my arse," she says in the interview. "He picked me up and everyone started laughing. We all ran back to his flat and he gave me these dry pajamas to get home in."
Miller kept them for two years, and had them until last November when Ledger stopped by her place prior to his death from acute intoxication.
"He was having trouble sleeping, I gave them back, to help him sleep. When he died, I was so sad that I didn't have these stupid pajamas anymore, so his father found them to give to me."
That's touching in a fairly innocent, I-hope-this-won't-tick-off-Michelle Williams kind of way. It's certainly a kinder story than what she's likely to say about ex-boyfriend Rhys Ifans.
