Amy Poehler is headed for 'Office' spinoff
Saturday Night Live's Amy Poehler says she's ready for primetime, telling the AP she's going to joined a planned spinoff for The Office and leaving the late-night show.
"I can kind of confirm that I will be working in some capacity on that show," Poehler said. "I don't really have any other details yet."
Amy, who just was nominated for an Emmy, is pregnant and due in October. She says she plans to stay on SNL through the election, but doesn't know what will happen come spring.
"It's been quite a week," Poehler said. "I'm very excited about all the good stuff that's coming down the pike." Let's just hope she can keep up.
