Britney Spears: a smokin' hot mama
The Juice* was just starting to recover from the Britney Spears and Kevin Federline settlement in the custody fight over sons Sean and Jayden (K-Fed got them both). Nothing more to see here, right folks? Wrong! Even with Brit’s limited visitation rights, the New York Post makes the case that it’s still too much. The tab has a front-page picture of Britney smoking as she chats with her 2 year old. Said tyke in question, Sean, is fingering her pack of Marlboros and a lighter. But Fox News reports that other photos showed Spears grabbing the lighter and cigs from the hands of her curious young son. Sure she was smoking but she took the lighter and the pack of Marlboros away from the 2 year old, ya'll.

You can take the girl out of the trailer but you can't take the trailer out of the girl.

Who cares. As a kid my father smoked lucky strikes and I used to smell the pack all the time. I'd even go through the ashtray and put the smoked cigs in my mouth and pretend I was smoking. I smoked candy cigarettes too.
And guess what? I don't smoke today.

That is the most insightful piece of journalism I have ever read. Thank you Times and New York Post. Thank you all.
