Christian Bale arrested ... for assaulting his mom!?
Perhaps Christian Bale is neither the hero we need, nor the hero we deserve. A day after 'The Dark Knight' broke just about every box-office record known to man over the weekend, British media and TMZ are reporting that Batman -- er, Bale -- was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister at London's Dorchester Hotel on Sunday night. Details are sketchy, but Britain's Press Association news agency reports the two women made the allegation at a police station in southern England on Monday. No one has been able to independently confirm that Bale, 34, was arrested, and British police are keeping more or less mum, in accordance with police policy, but they did confirm a 34-year-old man was arrested in connection with the alleged assault. Bale's reps in London and the United States did not return calls to the Associated Press. As they say on TMZ, "Story developing..."
UPDATE: Bale has been, um, bailed. According to E!Online, Bale has left the station where he was questioned by police for four hours, and still has not been charged with any crime. Said a statement from Bale's lawyers: "Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, cooperated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale." He's due to return to the station in September, pending further inquiries.

Same story different day. Most Actors are wackos. They are not the people they pretend to be on he sceen.
It is ironic and kind of sick funny that a guy playing a super good guy allegedly assulated his mom and sis.
They're probably all wackos, the whole family. Who knows?

Whatever. Christian Bale made the movie. His family are probably overexagerating an argument.

Bale is a hack anyway. He was the only dull spot in what was a very good movie.

How about waiting to hear all sides of the issue before judging? Oh wait - that would detract from the story. Police in Britain are a lot more strict than here in the US. If there was a problem Bale would still be behind bars. But again - that detracts from the story.
