Jewel, Ty Murray get hitched
In a blatant excuse for us to use the word “elope,” Jewel and rodeo star Ty Murray eloped in the Bahamas Thursday. According to People, the singer and cowpoke skipped town to the Caribbean with a couple of friends and got themselves hitched in a private cerermony. “She wore a traditional wedding gown, while Ty wore his favorite blue jeans, white shirt and cowboy hat,” said Jewel’s spokesperson. “The couple is very happy and look forward to enjoying their honeymoon.”
