Brad Pitt gives $100K to support gay marriage
Because politics and celebrity go hand in hand in California (Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, anyone?), Brad Pitt has decided to donate $100,000 to fight the state's Proposition 8, which would overturn the state Supreme Court decision to legalize gay marriage. Because with a collapsing housing market, bankrupt government, laundry list of natural disasters, an energy crisis, uneducated populace and crumbling infrastructure, that's what California needs to focus on.
"Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8," Pitt told the AP. Angelina Jolie has already been well known for flings with girls, so we think we know where she stands on the issue.
