Angelina Jolie doesn't want to act anymore

In news that was likely greeted by cheers from Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie says in a BBC interview that she's ready to give up the acting game. Say it ain't so!

"I don't plan to keep acting very long. I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day," she laughs. Jeez, that's at least 10 years away, even if Maddox goes out and knocks up some girl in high school. "I'm not so worried that I want to keep this pace up and try to be something and be a celebrity and be a successful actress forever."

This is all fishy coming right around the time Aniston ate her lunch for stealing Brad Pitt. What, because Changeling isn't getting the Oscar buzz you'd hoped, you're going to quit?

"I don't think I'll ever say I'm never, ever gonna work because maybe there's that interesting project where I feel creative," she said. "I'll work for a few months in February. I won't work again probably for another year. So maybe it'll be once a year, then maybe once a year, then maybe it'll be once every three years."

It's really disheartening when actors get all uppity about their work, like those days making movies like Gia and Hackers were all that bad.
