Paula Abdul wants to have her own talk show
Paula Abdul is the laughing stock of American Idol, had a ruinous reality show and is being haunted by a stalker's ghost, so what's the next logical step? Why, her own talk show, of course. The National Enquirer says the 46-year-old is in talks for a new shingle with CBS/Paramount Network Television.
"Paula’s been dreaming about having her own talk show for three years, and she’s ready to make it a reality," a source says. This is all set to go in motion even if Idol producers meet her demands and double her salary for the talent show from $5 million to $10 million per season!
"If she does get her contract demands, Paula will attempt to negotiate a clause that states she can have other projects, including a talk show, and will juggle both," the source says. Because Paula has proven time and again she can handle stress so well.
