Sarah Jessica Parker answers divorce rumors

Sarah Jessica Parker has responded to recent rumors she and Matthew Broderick are splitting up by getting dolled up and going out on the town with her husband, than spilling a little dirt to People. Because that's just how important the whole fiasco is.

Heading out to a night on Broadway -- where the couple saw The American Plan, starring Mercedes Ruehl and Lily Rabe -- Parker told the mag, "This is date night. It was really lovely."

She then told People that the rumors are not that big of a deal: "We don't even bother to address them." Um, by responding to that question, you're addressing them.

But enough of that. What about a Sex and the City sequel?

"That's what I've heard but I wouldn't say that is the most official thing you'll ever read," she responded. That's what we trade in, sweetie, so no worries!
