Travoltas return to Ocala with Jett's ashes
John Travolta and Kelly Preston have returned to Ocala with the cremated remains of their 16-year-old son, Jett, the AP reports.
The couple received an urn with his ashes and left the island chain on Monday night, according to Obie Wilchcombe, a member of the Bahamas parliament and a family friend.
"Everything was in place, the cremation was completed, and they decided to leave," Wilchcombe said Tuesday.
TMZ reports that the family will hold a memorial service on Thursday in Ocala.

My prayers to the Travolta family for their loss.

My heart and prayers go out to the Travolta family.

My heart goes out to the Travolta's who tried so hard to save their son Jett's, life.
The only comfort being it seems by all accounts this child knew he was wholly and completely loved. How many children feel they are wholly and completely loved?
Although the pain of losing a child will never leave, it will diminish. In time the family will be able to smile again. Just not real soon.

I agree with Jen. John, Kelly, and Ella need their space to grieve. The healing will be a long time. My daughter has seizures and their reality is my worst fear. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

It doesn't matter to anyone else if Scientology's no-meds policy was related, or if in fact Jett had autism, that's the Travolta family's business and something they will live with.

I feel so bad for the Travolta's. I hope people will give them space, and let them grieve in peace during this hard time.
