Jennifer Lopez keeps $50,000 in jewelry

How did we miss yet another tale of Jennifer Lopez's greed? The New York Post's Page Six say J.Lo "borrowed" $50,000 worth of diamond jewelry from designer Robert Mouawad for an Andrea Lieberman fashion show in Beverly Hills last week, and has no intention of giving them back. Well, probably because she's so poor, you know.

While celebs like Gwen Stefani, Leah Remini and Ellen Pompeo were also loaned jewels, they somehow found it in their hearts to give it back. But not J.Lo, oh no.

"We received a call from (manager) Benny Medina, informing us that Jennifer was going to keep the jewelry," a source told the Post. "As far as Mr. Mouawad is concerned, Jennifer can have whatever she wants, but a premature demand seemed presumptuous."

Medina told the Post that the call really was about an offer to let Lopez keep the clothes and jewelry in return for hosting the show, which does indeed sound presumptuous. But Mouawad didn't even blink.

"He will lose no sleep over $50,000, and frankly, Jennifer's endorsement is priceless," the paper's source said. Must be nice to not be worried about giving away the equivalent of Tampa Bay family's annual income. But hey, it's J.LO!
