Susan Boyle checks out of mental health clinic
Susan Boyle has checked out of the Priory clinic in London, where she chillaxed for five days after coming in second on Britain's Got Talent. It seems the 48-year-old managed to retain all her marbles.
"She's much happier. She seems a lot more like herself," her brother Gerry Boyle told Britain's GMTV. "Things are becoming clearer for her now. She's now beginning to believe that, 'Yes, indeed, I will be a singer.' "
E! News says it's still not clear whether that career will be associated with Britain's got Talent. She has yet to confirm if she'll join the show's national tour, which is like the American Idol tour, but with even more people you've never heard of.
"At this stage we're not saying anything," a Boyle spokeswoman said. "Susan is still recovering and we ask to respect her privacy."
We would like to point out, yet again, that if you want to be famous, you kinda hafta give up that whole "privacy" thing. Just sayin'.
