Harry Potter actor pleads guilty to growing marijuana

Tbd-jamiewaylett072009 It seems Vincent Crabbe has been doing more than plotting against Harry Potter with Draco Malfoy -- he also has taken to growing magical herbs of his own. Actor Jamie Waylett, 19, has pleaded guilty to growing marijuana under tents in his bedroom at his mother's home in London, People reports.

Waylett was arrested in April with a friend after the pal, John Innis, was stopped by cops, who found cannabis and a knife in Innis' car. When police searched Waylett's home, they found 10 plants.

The case was adjourned until July 21; the max sentence is 14 years. Jamie's lawyer has asked for leniency, noting Waylett cooperrated with the investigation, but we'd be more worried about the Harry Potter producers, if we were him.
