In fact, Smith's doctors, psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich and internist Sandeep Kapoor, were warned about her prescriptions by three pharmacists, unsealed court documents show. The first pharmacist refused to fill the prescriptions (for two sedatives, 300 tablets of methadone, a muscle relaxer, an anti-inflammatory drug and four bottles of a strong painkiller) and recalled thinking, "They are going to kill her with this."
The unsealed affidavits are part of an investigation into the doctors' roles in Anna's OD death in 2007. Is this not salacious enough for you? Court papers filed last week say both docs crossed professional lines by having sexual contact with Anna Nicole, which gives both of them something in common with Smith's boyfriend Howard K. Stern, who faces a preliminary hearing next month with the docs for allegedly conspiring to illegally provide her with controlled substances.
