Angelina Jolie's doctor says babies aren't near

Angelina Jolie's obstetrician, Dr. Michael Sussman, told reporters at Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, that the 32-year-old actress was doing fince and was not about to give birth. She has apparently been checked in for monitoring, not delivery, the BBC says.

"Mrs. Angelina Jolie and her husband, Brad Pitt, told me to tell you that she is doing absolutely fine," Sussman said, forgetting the two aren't married (or are they?? DUM DUM DUUUMMM). "Her hospitalization at this stage in her pregnancy is totally normal for a patient who had a Cesarean during her first pregnancy."

Other than that, he didn't dish out much, not spilling the sex of the kids or when they were going to arrive: "I can't give you a date. Let's say the birth will happen in the weeks to come."

Weeks? How can The Juice* set our DVRs to that kind of estimate?

Angelina Jolie checks into French hospital

Here we go again (but for real this time): Numerous media outlets -- we'll quote the International Herald Tribune's AP report -- are saying that Angelina Jolie has checked into a French hospital to give birth to her twins, and will stay there until the pair arrive.

Hospital spokeswoman Nadine Bauer says Jolie is fine and that everything is going well, the AP says. She says the actress' admittance to the hospital's maternity wing had been planned for some time.

Bauer also said Jolie is not expected to give birth immediately, but has arrived to stay under observation. They say surveillance, but that makes us think the CIA is involved, and this news really isn't as important as all that.

We'll update when more details are available.

Brangelina donate $1 million to Iraq War kids

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt once again prove they're so much better than you, donating $1 million for educational aid to kids affected by the Iraq War, both in Iraq and the U.S., Reuters reports.

Their Jolie-Pitt Foundation ponied up $500k to three groups in Iraq that will help about 5,700 kids with books and school supplies, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict said. The Armed Services YMCA Operation Hero Program also gets a half-mil for tutors and counseling for 2,500 children who have a military parent who was killed in the war.

The Juice* is so conflicted about Brangelina; We want to rip on them for doing things like buying French chateaus and $300,000 coffee tables, but then they go and use their powers for good, not evil. It's like, they're responsible or something!

Angelina Jolie's twins aren't born, but dad's OK

While paparazzi and entertainment reporters are staking out the French village of Correns like Saddam Hussein's fabled cache of WMDs are hidden there, The Juice* continues to relay word that Angelina Jolie's twins haven't yet been born.

The AP says both Jolie's and Brad Pitt's managers have stated reports of the births are "not true," with helicopters flying over their newly purchased estate and photographers camped out near the manor's entrance. About all we can say about that is we wished bank regulators had paid that much attention when so many 5/1 ARMs were being written a couple years back.

Meanwhile, a real interview Angie gave to a real newspaper, the Sydney Morning-Herald, turned up an interesting quote about her estranged dad, Jon Voight.

"I think sometimes you have to distance yourself from relationships you feel are unhealthy for you," she said. "But we have spoken recently and we are going to try to get to know each other and maybe try not to be this daddy and daughter, but to be there for each other as friends in the coming years."

So just wait for it; People will pay $10 billion for pics of teh new twins with grandpa. But since the Morning-Herald reports she gives away a third of her income, that's just $3.3 billion more for charity.

Has Angelina Jolie birthed the twins? Nope.

Well, since Ok! and Entertainment Tonight are both saying Angelina Jolie has had her twins in France, we'll have to go ahead and believe that. Ok! says it all went down on Sunday in a Catholic clinic in the Aix-En-Provence region of France.

ET quotes a source as saying, "Babies are great and so is mom," and are reporting one is named Isla Marcheline (after Jolie's mother) and Amelie Jane (after Brad Pitt's mother). How sweet.

That's not really much to go on, but we'll update as we hear more ...

1:50 p.m. UPDATE: Angie's rep says this is just so much hogwash, People reports.

"Angelina has not given bith. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France," the rep says.

Aw. It must have been some other rich and famous couple birthin' babies at that French clinic.

Brad and Angie drop $60M on new digs

Don’t tell Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie the real estate market isn’t so hot. E! News says the couple just dropped an eye-popping $60 million on a 1,000-acre estate in south France. Among the highlights of the property, known as Chateau Miraval: 35 bedrooms, a vineyard, a lake, a forest, a moat, a billiards room, his-and-hers gyms, a sauna, aqueducts, a giant banquet hall, 13 varieties of olive trees and neighbors like Bono and Johnny Depp. Oh, and they’ve already dropped another cool mil on furniture.

Whose is bigger, Angelina Jolie or Jack Black?

Jack Black had better be thankful Angelina Jolie has a sense of humor since he's the one who spilled the beans about Angie having twins before she was ready to say. We're pretty sure she could have people killed for less. But here they are having a big belly contest while promoting Kung Fu Panda on the red carpet at the 61st Cannes International Film Festival in France. While Angie is in her third trimester and blowing up like a balloon, what's really frightening is that Jack isn't actually carrying two human beings in that pudge.

Angelina Jolie (and Jack Black) confirm twins

Finally, we can put all the speculation to rest and announce that Angelina Jolie is, in fact, pregnant with twins. Actually, Jack Black's the one who said it, because he blurted it out during an interview he and Angie were having with Today staple Natalie Morales.

“You’re gonna have as many as (the) Brady Bunch when you have these,” Black said, prompting Morales to ask if it was confirmed that Angie was having twins.

“Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already,” Jolie answered. “Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.” Oops.

Jack apologized for the loose lips, but we were all gonna know that anyway. This will be her fifth and sixth children, putting Angie and Brad Pitt over the tipping point for fielding a soccer team, as Pitt has joked about in the past.

Angie wouldn't spill the sexes, though, or if she really was having the children in France. Coy stuff like that is such a pain. It's not like they can't hire armed guards to keep all the paparazzi away. The interview is slated for tonight's Access Hollywood, and will be featured on Thursday's Today show in full.

Brad Pitt, Angela Jolie headed off to France

Where are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie lately? Why, headed to France, of course! E! Online says the pair have loaded up the chirruns and all their stuff and are on their way to a rented villa, reportedly one owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.

"The kids are happy with the seaside being just down the road, and Brad's dying to get out and explore the French countryside on his bike," a source says. "They've just had one of the happiest weeks that they've had together as a family for ages."

Angie reportedly wants everything to be in place for the arrival of her twins since she planning a home birth. Brad even had a motorcycle shipped over because hey, you've got to have priorities.
