Britney Spears wants to marry boyfriend Jason Trawick

We haven't invaded Britney Spears' privacy for quite some time, so why not check in with her with a rumor that she's ready to get married again? That's what OK! is saying, claiming on its latest cover story that she wants to marry boyfriend Jason Trawick. Third time's the charm, right?

“Britney said she does not have a doubt in her mind that she wants to spend the rest of her life with Jason,” a source tells the mag, saying they are just waiting for the right time. “She has already discussed marriage with him, and they are both excited about a romantic wedding.”

What OK! doesn't know is that the U.K's Daily Telegraph is pretty sure she already proposed while on tour in Australia. They say the 27-year-old dropped to one knee last Friday, but Trawick said no, prompting an unscheduled address to her Sydney audience about the fickle nature of love.

"She is in love with the idea of marriage," a source said. "She has been married only twice, but has proposed to many more."

Never mind the fact that they also say she's been dating Trawick for three years, which is unlikely, given that the rumors they were dating didn't even start until the Circus Tour. She was dating that one guy Adnan Ghalib until early 2008. He as 37, too, just like Trawick; That must be a magic number for her. Where were we going with this? Oh yeah, the media lies to you.

Britney Spears gets 'thumbs down' Down Under

Poor Britney Spears. Just when the pop star gets her personal life together, leave it to those hateful Australians to give her a complex over her live shows.

"Hundreds of fans stormed out of the Burswood Dome concert -- some as early as three songs into her set -- furious with her lacklustre performance," Perth Now reports as Spears continues her Circus tour in Australia. "One security guard said he had never seen so many people walk out of a concert."

Hmmm, maybe there's more to Australia than Outback Steakhouse, Paul Hogan and really big cans of Foster's beer.

"Barmaid Amanda Hawlet, 22, drove two hours from her home town of Northam, and spent nearly $500 on her weekend to see Spears. She left little more than half an hour into the action," the paper said. 

"I want my money back or I want her to sing properly," Hawlet told the reporter.

Sing properly?!? She did know it was a Britney Spears concert she bought a ticket for, right?

"Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it," tour promoter Paul Dainty said Monday, according to a report on PopEater.com. "She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting."

What's inaccurate ... the part of the lip-syncing? The Australian government even addressed the issue last week, issuing a statement to ensure fans knew what a Brit-Brit show was like.

"It is Britney's 'prerogative' to lip-sync, and it is my job to make sure consumers know what they are paying for up front," the nation's minister for fair trading in New South Wales said in an an official government statement.

Wow. We love all the drama. And common sense! Why can't the U.S. be more like Australia?

Britney Spears peeper gets probation, community service

Remember Miranda Tozier-Robbins, that woman found guilty of snooping around Britney Spears' house back in April wearing camouflage and carrying camera equipment? She got a little slap on the wrist with probation this week, the AP reports. Surely that makes Brit feel safe.

L.A. Superior Court spokeswoman Patricia Kelly says a judge in Malibu, Calif., found Tozier-Robbins guilty of peeping into Spears' Calabasas home. Miranda has to serve three years probation, plus 240 hours of community service. She also was ordered to stay away from the house, but if she could do that, she wouldn't have been charged in the first place.

Tozier-Robbins said after her arrest that she was working on a documentary on paparazzi tactics and might have sold any footage she got of the pop singer, who wasn't home at the time. That was one sure-fire way to know what a paparazzo feels like.

You've heard about how Kevin Federline has been packing on the pounds after his high-profile fleecing of Britney Spears, but check the evidence. This is FedEx at Ryan Sheckler's X Games Celebrity Skins Classic at the Cota de Caza Golf & Racquet Club in Coto De Caza, Calif., on Monday. And from the looks of it, he must have eaten Jayden and Sean during their last visit.

Britney Spears marrying agent Jason Trawick?

Even though by the time you read this it may be untrue, we have to tell you that Star reports that Britney Spears is getting married to her agent, Jason Trawick. That goes above and beyond the usual 10 percent, doesn't it?

The pair were off on a vacation to the Bahamas last month when the proposal dropped.

"He didn't exactly get down on one knee, but Brit didn’t care. She said yes, and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate,” the ubiquitous inside sources told the mag. “Jason held Britney for a long time and kissed her cheeks. They talked about their future for hours and didn’t go to sleep until after 3 a.m.! They just wanted to be alone together."

Brit apparently wants to get married in December, and she wants to class it up for No. 3: "When she marries Jason, she wants it to be like a fairy tale," a friend said. Word of advice -- don't go signing up for any reality shows after this one.

Britney Spears sued by former bodyguard

After several days of ignoring Britney Spears, it's time to get ol' girl back in the blog. This time she's getting sued by a former bodyguard. Because, you know, why not?

Kerry M. Vine of Richmond, California, filed a suit in L.A. claiming that Spears' negligence caused him personal injury in March 2008, and that her "extreme/outrageous conduct" caused him "severe emotional distress," the New York Daily News reports. he doesn't specify what happened, but she apparently failed "to ensure that he could safely perform duties that she ordered him to perform thereby resulting in physical injuries."

We always think it's fishy when people won't name specific instances as reasons why they sue someone for at least $25,000, but we have to note that Vine also is suing the Pasadena-Glendale-Burbank Airport Authority Police Dept. for discrimination (he was allegedly ignored in Sept. 2007 after saying he had once filed for worker's comp). He's also accusing Starz and screenwriter Russell Gerwitz of stealing parts of his 1998 screenplay A Badge of Deception to make 2008's Righteous Kill, starring Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. So he knows what he's doing in court, then.

Orlando man walks onstage at Britney Spears concert

Leave it to a Florida man to make a scene at a Britney Spears concert. A dude from Orlando snuck up on stage at a Connecticut concert and scared the daylights out of pop star, E! Online says. That should be good for Brit's fragile self-esteem.

Kyle King, 20, made his way past the crack security team in place at Spears' Saturday concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena while Brit was singing Womanizer before being pushed away by backup dancers and then dragged off by bouncers. Appropriately, Spears was singing the line "I've got your crazy." (We've got two views for you to get the full reaction.)

State police said King was arrested for breach of peace and released on a $250 bond, E! says. He has a court date at Norwich Superior Court on June 18. Security at Mohegan Sun Arena, meanwhile, are probably all looking for work.

UPDATE: This is all especially strange because on Monday a judge issued a protective order against Brit's ex, Adnan Ghalib, for Ram Maskowitz, the process server who was allegedly run over by the the paparazzo back in February.

TMZ says the Van Nuys judge continued a preliminary hearing to May 18. An attempt to have Britney also protected from Adnan was denied -- because she's already covered by a request from her conservatorship. Thanks, dad!

Casey Aldridge will recover after truck crash

Casey Aldridge, the baby daddy to Jamie Lynn Spears 10-month-old daughter Maddie, is expected to fully recover from mild brain trauma after flipping his pickup on a Lousiana highway early Sunday morning, numerous sources are reporting.

TMZ says Aldridge rolled his 2008 Ford F-250 when overcorrecting after driving into a ditch. Casey and two of his four passengers were ejected from the vehicle. The site says the 19-year-old was taken to Riverside Medical Center in Ferriday, La., for what a family member called a "skull fracture around his hairline." The injury will keep him in the ICU at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss., where he's been transferred, for several days.

"There was just a little swelling, but he's alert," his uncle, Odus Jackson, tells Us. "They're keeping him under precaution for a couple of days to make sure that no bleeding starts, but at the moment he's still resting well and doing well."

One passenger reportedly suffered a broken collarbone, and another had a hip injury of some sort, E! News says. Cops say it doesn't seem that alcohol was a factor, but Aldridge was cited for careless operation of a vehicle.

People reports that Spears is with him at the hospital, along with his mother, father and sister. Aldridge was apparently attending a cousin's bachelor party before the crash, but he and his pals left to go crabbing a fishing hole.

Alleged stalker arrested at Britney Spears' home

We know Britney Spears is back on top because she's got her very own alleged stalker, it looks like. TMZ says 26-year-old Miranda Tozier-Robbins was arrested around 10:50 a.m. Thursday for peeking through the windows of Brit's Calabasas home.

How did security know she was up to no good? Well, for one, she was carrying a backpack and video camera. For another, she was wearing camouflage fatigues. And for a third, she "balked at their requests" when they asked her to leave. But if there's security, how did she even get up to the windows?

If Miranda looks familiar, it's because she's a fifth-season American Idol tryout, who auditioned with Spears' Everytime, Entertainment Weekly points out.

Spears was in town, playing two shows at L.A.'s Staples Center, but wasn't home at the time. Tozier-Robbins was booked on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct, but was released on a citation to appear in court on June 16.

Britney Spears is not engaged, apparently

There's a lot of gossip about Britney Spears having the gall to date other people (what? it's impossible to follow up Kevin Federline or something?), so we've read that she's apparently following up flings with backup dancers by dating her daddy complex.

The National Enquirer says that she's not only seeing John Sundahl, a 40-year-old real estate developer, but they're getting married, according to the millionaire's personal pilot, Lance Chase. Okay, yeah, sure thing.

"Britney and John used to date, but they reconnected after her show in New Jersey, and now they're engaged. He got down on one knee in a Subway sandwich shop in Santa Monica a week ago and proposed with a $4.5 million marquise-cut diamond that he bought at a Frankfurt jewelry store," Chase incredulously told the Enquirer. "They plan on getting married at his aunt's farm in Germany in six weeks. It's very hush-hush, even to the employees. He's even putting a $350K fence around the property."

Of course, Brit's people call B.S. on all of this in the New York Daily News: "Britney is not engaged, she did not get proposed to at Subway last week -- she is currently on tour -- she is not getting married on a farm in Germany, she did not receive a $4.5 million marquise-cut diamond ring. Oh, and she has not been abducted by aliens either."

We'll wait for proof to pass judgment on that last part.
