Trailer trash: 'The Dark Knight' bootleg

This new trailer for The Dark Knight won't be officially released for mass consumption until Sunday, we hear, but thanks to bootleggers and the power of the Internet, you won't have to pay $9 to see it in theaters. It is a bootleg, mind you, so there's salty teenaged language at the start and the quality is pretty bad, but hey, the movie looks dope.

UPDATE: YouTube took the video down because movie studios are paranoid people may actually, you know, want to watch it.

UPDATE UPDATE: Here's a new player you can watch it on. Thanks, Dana.

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE: Apparently Firefox can't read the player I've embedded from GameTrailers. Try IE or something.

Trailer trash: 'Succubus: Hell Bent'

That post below about Gary Busey got us curious about this movie, so here's the trailer for it, because it looks like a real winner. It's like a washed-up actor's clinic!

Trailer Trash: 'The Happening'

What better than a gloomy, end-of-the-world pic on a slow Friday afternoon? For some reason, M. Night Shyamalan's work appeals to our cynical, society-is-crumbling nature.

At least we now know Tae Kwon Do is better than Jiu-jitsu.

Trailer Trash: 'Run Fatboy Run'

Wow, there is absolutely nothing of note so far today (that we care about, anyway), so here's the trailer for something that audiences will probably find way better than Drillbit Taylor. Anything with "Fatboy" in the title is awesome, and Simon Pegg rules, so here:

Trailer Trash: 'Tropic Thunder'

Man, we can't tell if this will be really good, or really bad. We can say it looks better than we expected, what with Robert Downey Jr. playing a white man playing a black man and all. Of course, that's not saying a whole lot ...

Trailer Trash: 'Lost Boys: The Tribe'

This looks just terrible. It's like Corey Feldman got coked up and said, "Let's do a sequel! I've got $4 ..." That must have been just enough to pay that Kiefer Sutherland wannabe.

About the only thing that looks good is Corey himself, who must be hobbit, since he doesn't look like he's aged a day since the original. Well, maybe a couple days.

Is Edward Norton holding up 'Incredible Hulk'?

While we're sure maybe six people were eagerly awaiting the new trailer for The Incredible Hulk (it debuted Wednesday night at 9:56 p.m. on MTV, VH1 and Spike -- se it above), it sounds like Edward Norton is gumming up the works.

The star/co-producer/co-writer has been arguing with Marvel over how to cut the movie, which is supposed to open June 13, DeadlineHollywoonDaily.com says.

"There's a lot of posturing going on between Edward's camp and Marvel over how you edit the final version," a source tells the site. As previously mentioned by The Juice*, Norton was "promised tremendous involvement and access" in the project, including having a say in how Zak Penn's script was rewritten.

"Never let an actor write a script," a source told the site. "Marvel made a mistake letting the wolf in the hen house."

Norton has had run-ins before, fighting with Paramount during The Italian Job and having words with director Tony Kaye during American History X. But some say the discussions over the $150 million Hulk is no big deal.

"There is a very healthy exchange of ideas going on. Discussions now are even more heated. But some of Ed's best movies have had this exact dynamic to them," another source said. "Everyone's in the process of figuring it out and working it out. But I expect it'll all get resolved pretty quickly."

With only three months to go, we hope so. But by then, we'll be going to see Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man for the umpteenth time.

Trailer trash: 'Zombie Strippers'

While we're mentioning Jenna Jameson, let's see what else she's been up to lately. Let's see, there's that PETA ad and, oh yeah, a straight-to-DVD flick with Robert Englund set in a fictional town in my home state. Awe. Some.

Trailer trash: 'My Name is Bruce'

If you're a Bruce Campbell fan, you get it. If not, move along.

Trailer trash: Willa Ford is ... 'ANNA NICOLE'

Some people might say Willa Ford's acting is horrible in what will be a horrible movie, but really, have you ever watched any news footage of Anna Nicole Smith? If this is any indication, Ford deserves an Oscar for her Phillip Seymour Hoffman-esque channelling of the Playmate.

'Iron Man' gives us hope for Robert Downey Jr.

There's a new trailer for Iron Man, and frankly, it looks CG-tastic. All the ladies, prepare to have to sit through this one, because it's all your man will want to see in theaters when it comes out on May 2.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a really long title, don't you think?

Corny, yes. Over the top, yes. Overblown special effects, yes. Will we see it? Oh yes.

George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead

If you're big zombie fans -- like The Juice* -- you've already seen the trailer for Diary of the Dead. But it's Wednesday and we're bored, so let's watch it again.

Heath Ledger's new 'Dark Knight' trailer

We're getting a late start today, but thanks to the enterprising work of bootleggers who actually paid money to see I Am Legend in Imax over the weekend, we have the new six-minute trailer for The Dark Knight, featuring Heath Ledger as the Joker. Hold on to your seats, because the low quality makes it pretty hard to see, no matter how cool it looks.

Who says 'Ratatoing' is a 'Ratatouille' ripoff?

Well, we guess the Brazilians do, since it's a Brazilian ripoff of the Pixar hit.

Wait, is 'Meet the Spartans' a joke or what?

We would make a joke about the lack of timeliness with this parody of 300, but it probably took the producers this long to round up actors with halfway decent abs.

Will 'Cloverfield' make up for 'MI:III'?

We can speculate that J.J. Abrams' Cloverfield is a Blair Witch-style monster flick, but then we'd just be adding to the neverending hype machine that this movie has been marketed with. But then, the trailers are making us curious.

'Jackass 2.5': The 'In Rainbows' of movies

Jackass

The gross-out daredevils of Jackass pulled a new stunt for their sequel: bypassing the movie theater entirely. Jackass 2.5 will be released to the Internet with unreleased footage from Jackass Number Two and new content. “It’s the first broadband movie ever distributed by a major studio,” said Thomas Lesinski, President of Paramount Pictures Digital Entertainment. Blockbuster will offer it for free at www.blockbuster.jackassworld.com from Dec. 19 through Dec. 31. It will go on sale on Dec. 26 on DVD. The film will also be available for download at iTunes, Amazon.com and other sites. It’s exactly the kind of new-media revenue stream that Hollywood writers are striking to get a piece of, except for the fact that Jackass doesn’t require writers, just low IQs.

And no, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you: That is a saucy young lady checking out Steve-O's tush in the photo above. Shudder.

'Speed Racer' looks fascinating, yet not

There's no way a live-action Speed Racer could not be horrible (unless Jerry Stiller played Chim-Chim), especially with Andy and Larry "We Bit Off More Matrix Than We Could Chew" Wachowski directing. But then, we're such geeks about the goofball cartoon that it may be worth a look.

Why on earth would you miss 'Teeth'?

And why didn't anyone think of this movie before? Oh right ... Yes folks, it's a real movie, coming to real theaters. Sorry.

Thanks, Door From Hell.

Up next: remakes of every single Jet Li movie

"The Eye" Exclusive Trailer

Add to My Profile | More Videos

Be sure and tell all your friends you were there the day The Juice* created "Trailer trash," a new category that shows some of the most exciting (or preposterous) movie trailers out there.

Our first victim? The Eye, in which Jessica Alba plays the recipient of an eyeball transplant and begins to see all sorts of ghoulies. Our problem? It's proof that the worst trend in Hollywood, besides masochistic torture porn, is remaking Asian horror films and casting hot Tinseltown girls to play the lead (see The Grudge, The Ring, Dark Water, etc.).

If you want to be scared, watch the originals; nothing is more unsetling for Americans than listening to foreign tongues we don't learn talk about things we don't understand.
