Where are the fans?

With 10 minutes left, the place has cleared out a bit after Vinny Lecavalier's tie-breaking goal as the Lightning are close to tying the series heading back to Tampa. The remaining fans here are getting a little restless because of the lack of calls. There were a pair of holding calls that would have been called earlier in the game that aren't being called now, so the Devils fans might have a point. The officials have to be consistent.

I am all for giving the benifit of the doubt. Maybe they really didnt see the infractions. Maybe they are suffering from an eye infection also.

I agree....oficials that blow calls need to be publicised by the league. At least the fans would know the league is doing SOMETHING about it.

NHL Officials are nothing more than ice-skating idiots. It doesn't matter which set of zebras you get they all haven't got a clue because there hasn't been enough integrity within the commissioner's office to hold these creeps accountable for their actions. Every time officiating has been brought up this year, its always "well they have a hard job, and they really are doing a good job." To hell with them, hold them accountable for the crap calls and start using instant replays the way they do in the NFL. Give the coaches 3 flags or red pucks, whatever it takes to get one of these morons attention, allow them to exercise this rule once every period. IF an official blows a call his name should be put in the box score. Then compile the stats, and at the end of the season this will determine which doofusses gets to officiate in the play-offs. Play-off games will be paid to the officials at a higher rate than the regular season games. I bet then there won't be half the controversy or half the crap calls. Go Bolts.......!

Now that's the facewash I was waiting for....
Great job gang!

Way to play Homer! Go MVP! Great job Boyler. These are the Bolts we love to watch play. See ya Monday!

The officiating hasn't been consistent all year. Why start now, there were questionable calls on both ends. Go Bolt's, great job. Congratulations for a great team effort. CAN'T WAIT TILL YOUR'RE HOME ON MONDAY1
