Lightning's 6th-round choices
Tampa Bay took defenseman Mark Barberio with the 152nd pick, the first of the sixth round. The 6-foot, 201-pounder, called a "fierce" competitor by Central Scouting, which ranked him the 134th North American skater, had 11 goals, 46 points and 75 penalty minutes in 70 games for QMJHL Moncton.
With the 160th choice, the Lightning took defenseman Luke Witkowski, 6-2, 200-pounder who had three goals, 13 points and 139 penalty minutes in 58 games for the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets of the United States Hockey League. The 18-year-old has committed to Western Michigan.
