Roberts' agent: "Very optimistic"
Rick Curran, the agent for Gary Roberts, said his client also has not yet signed a contract. But Curran said, "I am very optimistic that by tomorrow (Monday), we'll be able to finalize something."
Curran would not comment on his client's contract, but it is believed the base salary is $1.2-million on a one-year deal with incentives that could raise his compensation to $2-million.

Thank You Damian!! I completely agree with Harvey and Don. I live in Las Vegas and this is my only source for Lightning news. Both you and everyone else who posts keeps me up to date. It has been so exciting lately that I've been checking almost every hour for more news. Damian, you are the man.

I"m with ya there Don. I gave a little crap to DC about the right hand left hand thing but it was just in fun.
Nowhere, but nowhere, do we have up to the minute stuff like here. DC has provided us, and has for 2 years, a place to come and play.
He gets a little help from his friends but DC brings it to us on a regular basis.
I tip my hat. DC is our best friend here in Tampa without a doubt. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it!!
